      1. Hello Dawn – Sure, they could be shaped to look like a star, I suppose. It would be a very large star, and really could only be seen from a high perspective.

      Thank you for your inquiry. I’m terribly sorry for the trouble you are having. We have found that the most common problem is caused because a wire has been severed. Sometimes a rodent (squirrel, rabbit, etc.) has chewed through 1 or more wires somewhere. This is especially true when it happens within the first few days after the lights have been set out. Because it is something new, the rodents will investigate. So first, inspect the length of the string for a broken wire. Be careful on repairs, because these are high voltage, so make sure to be safe and insulate all repairs well.
