I purchased several sets of these years ago, and they all still work unless I caused them not to. They are easy to fix however and that’s what I do with them. My use is rather unconventional as I put ping pong balls on each light and put them in my trees, not on my lawn. I have used them on lawns however and that look is fabulous as well. Looking forward to the new pro line.

In reply to <a href="https://www.lawnlights.com/2016/08/05/my-first-blog-post/#comment-881">Todd Tunzi</a>.

Hello Todd:

Thank you for your inquiry. I’m terribly sorry for the trouble you are having. We have found that the most common problem is caused because a wire has been severed. Sometimes a rodent (squirrel, rabbit, etc.) has chewed through 1 or more wires somewhere. This is especially true when it happens within the first few days after the lights have been set out. Because it is something new, the rodents will investigate. So first, inspect the length of the string for a broken wire. Be careful on repairs, because these are high voltage, so make sure to be safe and insulate all repairs well.

Thanks!

Hello Jim. I get that question from time to time. The answer is no. The mower would destroy the wire. However, since they are so quick and easy to pick up and put down, should you need to mow, you can quickly move them out of the way and then redeploy them when you are done. Thanks for asking!
